Q: Where did you grow up?
A: Grand Rapids, Michigan
Q: What career path did you choose for yourself as a child?
A: Meteorology. In the late 90s it represented some of the most interesting use of computers I had seen.
Q: What’s your subject in school?
A: History
Q: What is your spirit animal and why?
A: Raven. My job asks me to solve crazy puzzles and I enjoy learning and adapting.
Q: What’s your favorite book?
A: The Great Divorce – C.S. Lewis
Q: Where is your favorite vacation spot?
A: Las Vegas. There is so much to do and I’ve always enjoyed meeting friends there and creating lasting memories.

A: Go the Netherlands and England to visit the towns my great grandparents were from.
Q: Do you have any hobbies/activities you like to do in your free time?
A: Date nights with wife, and PC Gaming.
Q: What do you love best about your job?
A: There are always new and exciting challenges to encounter, which keeps me sharp and always learning! Also, being able to have the flexibility to work from home is important to me and I love that I am able to do that.
Q: What has been your best experience at TG so far?
A: Leading a Fortune 100 company through a 2 year data management project. Being part of something from the beginning to the end is very satisfying.
Q: What technologies have you worked with or enjoyed working with?
A: Talend and Alation. Being able to quickly prototype and implement proof of concept is key to meeting the client where they are and proving value.
