Q: Where did you grow up?
A: I was born and grew up in two different places!! First in Tehran, Iran (Persia), and the second time in Mequon, WI, USA. The U.S. allowed me to be born and grow up again and experience new things. I’m thankful for that.
Q: What career path did you choose for yourself as a child?
A: As far as I can remember I really liked to do creative stuff. It seems when I was a very small kid, I automatically started painting which turned me into a cartoonist for over a year for a kids magazine in Iran when I was 16. When I went to elementary school, I wanted to be a scientist. I also wanted to have my own chain restaurants and become an entrepreneur for a while, but then reality kicked in and I became an engineer! I continued my path in the fields of analysis and PM and I love it.
Q: What’s your favorite TV show?
A: F.R.I.E.N.D.S. forever! After that, I like The Office, How I Met Your Mother, and Parks and Rec. In general, I am a big fan of comedy series, but F.R.I.E.N.D.S. for me is a whole different thing!
Q: Where is your favorite vacation spot?
A: Anywhere with green nature, mountains, and water. WI has a lot of beauty. CA is always a good spot. Tropical beaches sound good sometimes too.
Q: Is there anything on your bucket list??
A: Many things! But if I want to prioritize, they would be skydiving and traveling to Japan, Bali (Indonesia), Croatia, Iceland, and Norway.
Q: Share one thing you want people to remember most about you.
A: Anytime (after work! :)) you’d like to talk about food, culture, languages, and psychology just let me know!
Q: What do you love best about your job?
A: One word: People! Folks at TG are amazing! They are so nice and thoughtful. Also communicating with different customers and finding their requirements and translating qualitative factors to quantitative ones make me feel great.
Q: What has been your best experience at TG so far?
A: TG Pong for sure. Tyler and I used to be the undefeated champions! We’ll be back!
Q: What technologies have you worked with or enjoy working with?
A: I‘ve worked with Oracle Primavera, MS Project, Atlassian products, EBIS II CRM, and I’m familiar with AWS cloud computing services, MS Azure, and MySQL. Lots of learning is going on!.
