TG Spotlight: Rosa Mendiola

Q: What career path did you choose for yourself as a child?

A: I always wanted to be a Veterinarian. I love animals and I would love to work helping them as a volunteer sometime soon.

Q: What’s your favorite TV show?

​A: Game of Thrones. In fact, I just recently enjoyed building a Game of Thrones map for learning GIS coding in my current project.

​Q: Where is your favorite vacation spot?

​A: Any place that has a lot of nature.

​Q: Is there anything on your bucket list??

​A: A family trip to Paris!

​Q: What do you love best about your job?

​A: I really love the people I work with and the projects I’m involved in!

​Q: What has been your best experience at TG so far?

​A: My best experience was traveling to TG’s HQ in Grafton, WI last summer and last winter. I visited new and beautiful places, I met a lot of wonderful people, and it’s pretty cool that all of them are part of this great company! Although, I prefer to visit Wisconsin when it isn’t snowing there, I don’t enjoy the cold weather at all!

​Q: What technologies have you worked with or enjoy working with?

​A: I have the most experience in working with NodeJS, React, Redux, GIS libraries, Java, Talend, Bootstrap, MySQL, MongoDB, SQL Server, and Informix.
